How to get started with the SlideHub Asset Platform

The SlideHub Asset Platform allows you to quickly access and customize company assets easily to create materials that fully align with company branding and efficient knowledge management. By combining your company materials with SlideHub assets, we aim to ensure that the Platform is impactful from the very beginning. SlideHub is available in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. The user experience across these apps has been designed to be as similar as possible, but at the same time is optimized for the possibilities within each application.

_Streamline PowerPoint proposals and solve slide chaos. _ You can use different tools for different tasks. The image below shows what you have access to in PowerPoint.

Company slides: Clicking the topmost button will take you to company slides. This is a collection of the best-practice slides and presentations in your company’s style.

How to get started with the Design Add-On as an Admin?

If you wish to onboard your company to SlideHub and build better presentations faster, we encourage you to complete these steps.

1. Introduction call

You can share with us your company’s needs and preferences.
We will try to keep it between 30-60 minutes.
We will clarify any potential questions you might have about our services and costs.

2. Quality alignment task

We will ask you to submit a Quality Alignment Task with up to 6 slides. (We recommend using slides without tables or graphs)
Our design team will review your company’s branding to have a better understanding of them and implement them on the slides.

3. Feedback call on Quality Alignment Task (QAT)

We will schedule a second call, where you can share your comments with us.
We ask you to verify if SlideHub followed the correct rules and guidelines for your company.
We will have an onboarding session, so you are up to speed on how to send tasks and provide instructions for our team.

4. Guidelines and Inspiration Slides Approval

After the Quality Alignment Task (QAT), we will develop Guidelines and Inspiration Files based on your feedback.
We will upload these files to your Company Library. You can access the files on your SlideHub account

5. Begin with Live projects!

That’s it! Now you and the colleagues you authorize on your SlideHub company account will be able to send live tasks.

How to install SlideHub Asset Platform

There are 3 ways you can install the SlideHub Asset Platform for yourself or your company.

Directly from the Microsoft Office Store
Install the Software from PowerPoint, Word, Excel or Outlook
Have the IT team deploy it for your company

1. Directly from the Microsoft Office Store

Go to the Microsoft Store and search for SlideHub or follow the link below. Once there click on the version of SlideHub you need (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook or M365) and click "Get now". Note: the M365 version does not include Outlook

Can I book your services for a specific time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. When you send a task through our regular design service, we can’t guarantee that the deadline will not be pushed due to our capacity limitations due to volatility for the service.

Booking Capacity is useful when you need SlideHub to guarantee a specific deadline.

How can I send a Booking Capacity task?

You can email us a task at request@slidehub.io, or you can go to Send Task > Book Capacity. Please see the video below for more information on how to send a Booking Task

Will the cost increase?

No. Booking Capacity is a feature available for any of our users without any extra cost. However, cancelling the booking after an hour or failing to submit the working file may result in a payment fee.

What happens if I need to submit more slides that what I have originally thought?

If you send more slides than the booked capacity, we will check if we can rescope the request and most likely will require a deadline extension. And if not possible to rescope then the excess slides will be treated as a new task under the first come, first serve rules.

||| Please note, in order for us to be able to work on a booking task, we require you to send the booking request 6 hours in advance of the actual booking.

How much does a task cost?

Accepted Answer

The cost of a task depends on the number of slides and the type of design required.

The four main types of design tasks you can send, and their respective productivity levels are:

Brush-up: 

3-5 slides per hour. Clean-up and ensure consistent formatting according to the client guidelines

Visual Enhancement: 

1-2 slides per hour. We improve the structure and/or add new graphic elements.

Recreation: 

This can vary depending on the content, but usually 1-2 slides per hour. Saving you time by making input editable and structured from screenshots or pictures. 

Not Standard: 

This fully varies depending on the request. Saving you time by creating templates, brochures, posters, logos, icons, illustrations, etc.

The way we calculate the total cost for each task is:
