How to set up your Design Add-On as an Admin?

Before getting started

We need you to complete the QAT (Quality Alignment Test) before moving forward. This way we can be sure SlideHub has your PowerPoint design guidelines and preferences documented.

Control your company’s costs

When your company starts to use the Design Add-On it is natural to want to control costs. There are multiple ways to configure this. You can read more about this here.

How do I onboard others?

Read this article to see how to add new users to your account: How to invite more users to your company?

You can upload groups of users or individuals if you go to the Users Setting. Once your users are added, you can control if they receive our automatic emails to help them properly or not. You can do that by going to the Manage view > Account Setting > Notifications > Automated onboarding emails section. SlideHub always recommends leaving the onboarding emails switched on as your users will get all the tips and tricks on how to get the most out of the Service.

How do I manage users’ permissions?

You can restrict or enable access to the Design Add-On directly from the Users section in your profile. Click on the user name to edit each user's permissions to make them a Manager / Gatekeeper / Accountant or restrict their permission so they wouldn't be able to access the design service.

How can I know how you’ll handle my company’s information?

SlideHub follows strict regulations and have multiple security measure in place to ensure your company’s information is safe.

Moreover, when you use the design service you can handle how often we should delete your company’s slides from our servers after they have been completed. Go to
manage view > Service Settings > Security > 'Automatic file deletion' section.

In the Service Settings you can adjust all the PowerPoint Design Service preferences.

Spend transparency - determine how much spend information normal non-managers should have access to
Guideline changes - determine the extent to which non-managers should be able to change to company guidelines

Project IDs

Set up your project IDs to better identify individual design tasks - Project ID allows your organization to allocate costs to projects, clients, departments, etc. depending on your needs

How do I manage Credits?

Go to Send Task > Credits & Usages. Here you have the option to:

Overview available credits and a detailed credit usage

Adjust Company Account Settings

In the Account Setting, you can find different sections to manage your organization.


Your company’s information
Cost per credit
Payment settings and methods
Invoicing details


Access all your invoices


Determine a required login method
Set up an SSO for your company
Connect to your active directory to sync relevant user information
Determine SlideHub's access to your library
Disable user email changes (it can affect directory sync)


Enable or disable the automated onboarding emails for your team
Select the default notification preferences for users

Limit the user overview to the managers
Set the default role for new users joining or being invited to your company
In case you decide to change the email address for the majority of your users, we have an option for you to mass update to the new ones
